The 78th Force-User Detainment Squadron was under the command of Jedi General Auu'tumn Kandell during the Clone wars as the group was tasked with hunting down and capturing renegade Jedi and Dark Acolytes in the service of Count Dooku. When Order 66 came down, rather than kill General Kandell, the unit restrained her with gear she, herself had designed to prevent the Dark Siders from using their Force powers. The newly declared Emperor Palpatine has allowed Commander Master to keep Auu'tumn Kandell as a 'pet'.
